Doug LeBlanc is a multimedia painter working primarily in watercolor, pen and ink, pencil, and computer mediums. Holding a BS degree in Engineering, he worked three years as a Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, and then worked for many years with Granite Construction Company, Heavy Construction Division, in a variety of construction tasks and the initial development and implementation of the company’s estimating program. His last assignment there as Information Technology Consultant included design and implementation of the division’s national network (the company’s first LAN/WAN), with full Internet access, and the collateral duty of design and maintenance of their website “www.gcco.com” (the company’s first website, which has since been replaced by the Corporate “graniteconstruction.com” site.) Time permitting, Doug continues his creative work in painting and graphics, and working with Mary Ann in her professional photography.
